Felt like crap-but still cut a few seconds off per mile. I think a nap and water will help Thursday on my long run-school is draining :)

The first quarter mile about made me quit, but then I got in a groove and felt pretty good. I ran 106 minutes at a 8:13 pace (abt 13 miles) and walked the rest-it took me 2:15ish. I just hope I can do the marathon-time's running out!

I came down with something nasty: sore throat, painful ears, cough, fever, wanting to die :) I stayed in bed Saturday and Sunday and only left once to go the dr and the store for food. Today I woke up with a fever still, but I decided to get on the treadmill and walk so that I could get some miles in and finally break my fever. I feel a little better, hopefully it sticks. The marathon's only 12 days away.

I slept all afternoon because my classes were canceled, but I felt like I was going to pass out. Oh well, after next Saturday I can take a couple weeks off and just ride the bike!

Still trying to get completely well-but I felt pretty good today, I also biked for a half hour and did the elliptical for 40 minutes-want to stay in kinda shape for Saturday

Finished my "six miles" on the elliptical by walking on the treadmill. I'm going to do some serious rehydrating tomorrow, plus carboloading!!!

I lived, I lived, I lived!!! Miles 1-16 felt really good, I ran with another girl at a 9:30 pace without stopping. I hit mile 16 and it went downhill from there, I started a walk/run thing until the end. I felt like such a baby, about mile 24 I started to cry until I saw my sisters, then when I saw the finish line I almost cried from relief. I'm so happy I lived!!! I might actually do another one, but I can't think about that right now, I'm just glad it was under 6 hours!

This inactivity is killing me! However, my legs can't quite do anything yet, I'm hoping a really slow walk to the store will make me feel better-and not grouchy :)

I'm taking this week off of running too and just sticking to the elliptical and bike-hopefully that'll be enough time to let everything get back to normal. Overall, I feel great, so that might mean marathon #2 as soon as I can find another one in the spring.
