dr's really going to kill me when I show up next week-but my foot is feeling better. Today's walk felt like forever and a day-can't wait to run again! My goal for the year is 1500 miles!

tried walking on one of those stair stepper/treadmill combination things-I about fell off 10 times, so I gave up and did the rest of the mile on a treadmill and finished my hour with the bike.

going back to the orthopedic surgeon tomorrow-hopefully my foot has begun to heal despite my inability to stay off of it! 15 treadmill 45 bike

I miss the days of doing 6 miles in under an hour-I guess once I'm healed I'll stick to the treadmill-road running causes injuries :)

Apparently my dedication to the gym (ocd) has become common knowledge at school. I'm now responsible for getting another teacher to come with me. It was nice to have someone to chat with on the treadmill. I can't wait 'til I can start running again-I don't feel like I'm getting a decent workout on the bike-and I don't really have the energy/mental power to stay on it for more than an hour. Only 3 weeks 'til I see the doctor again!!!

My foot has been feeling pretty decent lately-so I went and walked my old running route. It doesn't like me right now-but I won't use it tomorrow!

foot felt ok-total sheet of ice out there for the first two miles-I've gotten good at balancing :)

ran 9 or 10 minutes-with long breaks in between. Man I'm out of shape, I ran only on the flat surface so I didn't reinjure my foot.
